I say this cause even though todays hip hop is good, it can’t touch the old school. If you listen to todays, most of it is how much money they have, how fly they are, and everything. The old school had that to, but what todays music lacks is music for the people. Music for the the poor, Music for…

The old school had that to, but what todays music lacks is music for the people. Music for the the poor, Music for the ghetto, Music to give inspiration. You listened to tupac, BIG, Nas, Big L, Big Pun,AZ, 50 cent,Jay Z(90s), etc., there music was bigger than them, they werent just speaking for themselves, they were speaking for the people, for anyone who had a dream, anyone who felt it wasnt possible, they just took their life and surroundings to spread the word on what is going on with their people, These guys were the Hoods presidents, most regular people dont really have a voice, and these rappers was our voice. They took what we are going through and made is poetry.
